On Wednesday, October 29, the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Tawas Computers in Tawas City. Joe Martinez, owner of the new business welcomed guests and shared his enthusiasm to be able to offer business and personal IT support to the community.
“I’m thrilled to be opening Tawas Computers. I have an extensive background in computer repair, technical assistance, website design and training classes and look forward to serving the community” commented Martinez.
Many supporters were on hand to congratulate Joe and show their support during the ribbon cutting ceremony including his mother and brother who traveled from Saginaw; Tawas City Mayor Ken Cook, and Chamber President Lisa Bolen.
“We are very pleased to welcome Tawas Computers to our community and the Chamber family. This is a much needed service in our community and we know Joe will be a wonderful resource for businesses and residents alike” commented Chamber managing director, Shelley Buresh.
Tawas Computers is located at 440 West Lake Street, Tawas City (behind Tawas Barber Shop).
