Nearly 50 community leaders and business owners were on hand for the official opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new Always a Holiday Bed and Breakfast!
Owner, Brenda Hawkins, expressed her gratitude for the kindness and support she has received since moving to East Tawas to restore the historic home on Newman Street into a new lodging facility. “I really want my guests to enjoy the home-style charm and personal service one receives from a bed and breakfast experience,” commented Brenda.
“Maintaining an historic and quaint appeal has certainly been captured in the renovations in this beautiful bed and breakfast,” commented Chamber managing director, Shelley Buresh. “We are extremely grateful to Brenda for her vision and resolve in restoring this property and choosing our community to call home.”
