The Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Last Bite Bakers & Bake Shop located in Tawas City on US-23. Melissa Street and Jennifer Montie together own the new business, and were thrilled to welcome local residents and community leaders to their luncheon – and dessert – grand opening earlier this fall.
Melissa and Jen are two hardworking moms who love to bake and have a passion for making their gourmet delights. “We are very fortunate and grateful that Last Bite Bakers have chosen to share their passion within our community, and are excited to have them as new business owners and members of the Chamber of Commerce,” commented Chamber managing director, Shelley Buresh.
“We specialize in mini guilt-free cupcakes, regular and jumbo sized cupcakes, custom decorated cakes and other specialty treats and chocolates,” shared Melissa during her welcoming comments at the ribbon cutting.
Last Bite Bakers prides itself on using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients to produce a variety of flavorful and beautifully decorated treats. The bakery is located at 646 West Lake Street (US-23, at the old Reeds by the River building) with winter hours Wednesday through Saturday from 8am-4pm. Be sure to check out all their sweets on their website – www.LastBiteBakers.com.
