The Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the addition of Miss Susanna’s Tea Parlor to Alabaster Corner with a ribbon cutting ceremony last Tuesday, March 3. The Victorian-style Tea Parlor offers a delightful mix of delicious goodies by appointment and for walk-in guests.
“We make all our tea in the English method, and host tea parties for birthdays, showers, or meetings. People rave about our scones, lemon curd, Devonshire cream, and cookies” remarked host and owner Susanna Slezinger. “You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure.”
Many supporters were on hand to congratulate Susanna, show their support, and try out all the tasty treats during the ribbon cutting ceremony, including Alabaster Township officials.
“We are so happy that Alabaster Corner continues to thrive and add new vendors to our community. We thank Jodie Jordan for her continued support and wish Miss Susanna great success,” commented Chamber managing director, Janel Walmsley.
Alabaster Corner is located at 2441 US-23 just south of Tawas City.
