The Royal Feast
Join us for an all-you-can-eat Royal Feast to honor Perchville Royalty, past and present! $20 tickets are good for either an early dinner at 5:30 or a late dinner at 7:00, with entertainment at 8:00. We’ll see you at Mr. Jack’ss to kick off the fun!

Knights of Columbus Perch Dinner
Indulge in this delicious fish fry with all the fixings at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Newman Street, East Tawas. Cash bar and music included.

Perchville USA Parade
Put on your mittens and hats and enjoy this spectacular parade featuring our Perchville King and Queen as well as Nanuk the Polar Bear.  The parade starts in Tawas City at the Fire Station, up US-23 and down Newman Street.

Hospitality Tent
Celebrate Perchville with plenty of fun, adult beverages, and live entertainment including the bands No Baloney, Off the Wall, and Legionaires. The heated tent is in the DNR parking lot behind Harbor Park next to the State Dock. $3 beverage tickets are available in the tent; Perchville button ($5) and photo I.D. required for entry (must be 21).

Chilly Cook-Off
Sample delicious batches of chili from businesses on and along Newman Street.  Sample as many as you can and vote for your favorite!  Hosted by the East Tawas Business Association.

Family Tent
Bring children of all ages into the family tent for fun and festive activities, games, and performances all day Saturday. So many prizes! Admission is only $2 per child, accompanying adults are free. The family tent will be presided over by the Junior King & Queen and include an outdoor petting zoo, gift giveaways for 3 age groups each hour, a Ronald McDonald magic show, games, a National Guard obstacle course, karaoke, graffiti wall, balloon animals, teen scavenger hunt, and performances including a trash can ensemble.

Fishing Challenge 
Join the fishing fun!  Open to children and adults; children under 16 are free and adults must have a Perchville button to enter their fish.  Prizes will be awarded Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Family Tent.  There are a wide range of categories for both adult and youth under 16.  Rules available at the Chamber of Commerce and at tawas.com.

Polar Bear Swim
Brave the ice and freezing cold water for bragging rights and a T-shirt you can’t get anywhere else!  $20 fee; entrants under 18 must have parent’s signed permission; no one under 16 is allowed. Register and swim at the DNR boat launch (next to the State Police post on US-23 in East Tawas).

Softball Tournament
Back by popular demand! Softball is a lot of fun, but wait until you see it in the snow! Watch as the players compete against each other and the winter elements for year-long bragging rights as 2017 Perchville Softball Champions. NEW LOCATION: Dewey Durant Park in East Tawas.

Lawn Tractor & Go-Kart Races
Bring your entire family – there’s something for everyone this year. NEW LOCATION & EVENTS: held at Dewey Durant Park, there will be go-karts races, modified and stock lawn tractor races and even a power wheels demolition derby for 5-9 year olds.

Bake Sale Christ Episcopal Church
Don’t miss all the homemade goodies to fuel you up over the weekend festivities.  The Christ Episcopal Church is located in Downtown East Tawas on the Corner of Westover and Sawyer.

Frozen Chosen Shooting Event
Head on over to the Iosco Sportsman’s Club for this Vintage or any type rifle shot at 100 yards, military style shooting contest. Proceeds to benefit American Legion Honor Guard. $10 fee.

Perchville Teen Scavenger Hunt
Join us for this exciting event and explore the nooks and crannies of downtown East Tawas.  It’s simple!  Form a two-person team (must be 13-18 years of age) and test your knowledge and skills by scouting the nearby streets, parking lots and businesses in search for clues.  Be the first to complete the hunt and be recognized as the 2016 Scavenger Hunt Champions.

Family Murdery Mystery Diner
This family-friendly, interactive theater experience is fun for the entire family. Follow the clues throughout the performance, and guess who’s guilty. At the Knights of Columbus Hall in East Tawas, doors open at 4:30, first come, first served, limited seating available. Admission is a Perchville button, available at the door. Diner fare provided.

Check your button number at participating stores to see if you’ve won an amazing prize! Buttons on sale for $5 throughout town and at the Chamber.
