Bring a boat and crew, or bring a crew or come alone. There is something for you to do. Row and/or sail. There will be three different fun races. If you don’t have a crew, come alone and you will be placed. The Tawas Bay Traditional Wooden Boat Sailing Race is a handicapped sailing race for traditional wooden sailing boats. It features a Lemans style start, then to a windward mark and back to a finish line. The boat with fastest corrected time wins the traveling trophy. Your boat, your crew. This is still a small event and we are running it as an open event. Crews can be made up of individuals of varying age and gender. A H-23 crew consists of a coxswain and four rowers. Each rower handles a single oar.
