Independence Day 2008 in the Tawas Area will be great fun. The celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. July 4th with the ANNUAL PARADE. The parade will travel from Newman Street starting at the Post Office and continue to US-23 and proceed south to Whittemore Street in Tawas...Please - No Water Shooters! The FIREWORKS DISPLAY will get underway at dusk . ALL EVENTS ARE FREE, however, your donations to the fireworks display are appreciated!
