Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 15th annual FANTASY OF LIGHTS! Decorate your home or businesses between November 17th – December19th for the holiday season and be eligible to win prizes and a traveling trophy! Judging will be held on December 22nd . Awards will be presented in the following categories: Best Residential Outdoor Decorations, Best Business Outdoor Decorations and Best Business Window Dressing. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony (6:00PM)

              Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

The East Tawas Business Association is sponsoring its Holiday Kick-Off Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 28, at 6 pm. There will be a parade with a horse drawn sleigh and Santa and Mrs. Claus, the “Family of the Year” will light all the Christmas lights, followed by singing, hot cocoa & cookies. The follow the luminaries to the downtown and experience shopping with a home town atmosphere. The weekend will be busy with chestnuts roasting, story-telling and pictures taken with Santa. There will be hot dogs roasting and much more. Bring your holiday company — See you there!
