On Thursday, June 25th, Burger King Restaurant in Tawas City celebrated their grand re-opening and renovation with an on-site celebration and live broadcast on WKJC. On hand to offer congratulations to the Burger King staff were Tawas City and East Tawas city managers; Chamber of Commerce board members, staff, and volunteers; Sheriff Department personnel; and plenty of satisfied customers.
The restaurant has undergone a complete renovation inside, including an updated seating area and restrooms. “We’re so happy to offer a fresh, new look to our customers to go along with all the delicious food and beverages we’ve always provided,” said Manager Andy Fowler. He continued, “We thank all of our customers for their support through our renovation, and welcome everyone in to see the improvements for themselves.”
The Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce helped perform the ribbon cutting. “A grand re-opening event is a fantastic testament to the health and success of our local businesses and our community as a whole,” commented Chamber managing director and Tawas City Councilwoman Janel (Walmsley) Malone. She added, “We commend Burger King on their continued success and commitment to our community.”
Burger King is located on US-23 near the intersection of M-55 and offers a full menu to enjoy on-site, inside or outside, or as take-out. For more information contact the restaurant at (989) 362-1830.
